孫昌茵，加拿大著名畫家，原籍中國浙江溫州市。原《文學(xué)青年》雜志社美術(shù)編輯。1988年移民加拿大。其作品分別獲得國際水墨大展銅牌獎(jiǎng)、全國美術(shù)展覽及專項(xiàng)美術(shù)等大獎(jiǎng)。并創(chuàng)作了《白蛇傳》連環(huán)畫及年畫30本（幅），及多篇藝術(shù)論文。近十年來，他創(chuàng)作了大量的油畫及肖像畫，被各藝術(shù)館、博物館及私人收藏家收藏。

　　90年代，因創(chuàng)作大型壁畫“天鵝湖”而榮獲加拿大政府授予的“卓越畫家殊榮”。出版有《孫昌茵水墨人體》、《線描人體》、《怎樣使用油畫刀》、《孫昌茵油畫藝術(shù)》等多部藝術(shù)著作。2006—2007年創(chuàng)作了巨幅油畫《百年華工血淚路》，耗時(shí)一年多的精心巨構(gòu)，被加拿大聯(lián)邦政府、郵政局制作為國家紀(jì)念郵票，此作必將為世人留下珍貴的歷史畫卷。孫昌茵現(xiàn)為加拿大中國美術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)副主席、加拿大當(dāng)代藝術(shù)研究院院長，多倫多美術(shù)學(xué)院名譽(yù)院長，專業(yè)畫家。

　　Chang-yin Sun

　　Chang-yin Sun was born in Wen Zhou City,Zhejiang,China,Prior to immigrating to Canada in 1988,Mr.Sun was the fine Arts Editor for Wen Xue Qing Nian(Literary Youth)magazine.A winner of numerous awards,Mr.Sun has created a number of oil paintings and portraits currently collected by many art galleries and museums. His mural”Swan Lake” yielded him the title of “Outstanding Artist” by the Canadian Goverment.

　　Mr.Sun has written a number of books including “Chang Yin Sun’s water ink portrait of human body”, “Scratch of Human Body”, “How to Use of Palette Knife for Oil Painting” and “Chang Yin Sun Oil Painting Art”.Starting to 2006, Mr.Sun spent over a year researching, preparing and completing “Blood and Tear Century of Chinese Immigrants” a gigantic oil painting depicting the hardship endured by the early Chinese immigrants to Canada.
