劉宇生于重慶，1985年于四川美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫系畢業(yè)，在本系留校任教。1986年赴法留學(xué)。曾在法國(guó)圖盧茲國(guó)立美術(shù)學(xué)院和巴黎國(guó)立美術(shù)學(xué)院研究學(xué)習(xí)。1990年定居巴黎，加入法國(guó)國(guó)家藝術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)。至今工作生活在巴黎和成都兩地。

Liu Yu

Born in Chongqing

1985 Graduated from Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Art Academy and stayed to teach at the campus.

1986 Studied in France, at Advanced School of Fine Arts of Toulouse and National Advanced School of Fine Arts.

1990 Lived at Paris and joined National Artist Association of France.Currently works and lives in Paris and Chengdu.
