2021年4月11日至6月1日，AYE畫廊將如期推出史新驥新作展"東山清曉"。新展囊括了史新驥2020-2021年疫情期間創(chuàng)作的精彩紙本作品和布面油畫作品數(shù)十件，其中以古本《搜山圖》為靈感創(chuàng)作的一系列小幅紙本，運用了色粉、索斯、油畫棒、水彩等多種材料，為傳統(tǒng)繪畫增加了閱讀的可能性。值得一提的是，即將亮相的幾件異型框小幅布面油畫，不同于藝術家以往作品中油彩厚涂疊加的方法，顯現(xiàn)了愈發(fā)"扁平化"的趨勢，其側面也作為畫面空間的一部分，一方面彌補了畫面扁平所缺失的"縱深感"，另一方面又可視作平面空間向立體空間的一次"升維"嘗試。本次展覽主題取"清曉"二字，既蘊含展出作品的整體意境，同時也寄予著一份對未來美好平定的期許。 From April 11th to June 1st, 2021, AYE Gallery will present Shi Xinji's solo exhibition "East Mountain Daybreak". The new exhibition includes dozens of marvelous paper works and oil paintings created from early 2020 to 2021 during the covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Among them, a series of small paper works inspired by the traditional theme "Mountain Search" using various materials such as pastel, soths, crayon and watercolor will be on display. Several small oil paintings with irregular frames will also unveil at the exhibition. Unlike previous thick-painted works of his, they seem to become all the more "flattening". As an essential part of the picture space, the gentle slope on the sides makes up for the "depth" missing from the flattened picture. It can also be seen as an attempt to break away from a two-dimensional plane to a three-dimensional space. This new exhibition adopts the word "Daybreak", which not only summarizes the overall artistic conception of the displayed works, but also looks forward to a glorious and auspicious future.
