白盒子藝術(shù)館位于北京798藝術(shù)中心區(qū)，是1952年由前民主德國(guó)建筑機(jī)構(gòu)負(fù)責(zé)建筑設(shè)計(jì)、施工的包豪斯建筑風(fēng)格的工廠區(qū)。藝術(shù)館在保留原建筑的精神外，在廢棄廠房的基礎(chǔ)上重新設(shè)計(jì)，由白盒子（北京）文化藝術(shù)有限公司投資創(chuàng)建。擁有近840平方米的自由展示空間，主要舉辦中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的展演活動(dòng)，關(guān)注國(guó)內(nèi)國(guó)際當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的發(fā)展動(dòng)向和最新思潮，推動(dòng)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)與國(guó)際文化藝術(shù)的交流。并將長(zhǎng)期致力于跨界藝術(shù)的展覽展示、學(xué)術(shù)推廣、資源整合并強(qiáng)調(diào)國(guó)內(nèi)外藝術(shù)交流的互動(dòng)與傳播，為藝術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)化的發(fā)展探索新路。除展出國(guó)內(nèi)外當(dāng)代著名藝術(shù)家藝術(shù)作品外，還積極發(fā)現(xiàn)、培養(yǎng)、推出年輕的新銳藝術(shù)家。依據(jù)當(dāng)代文化的多功能需求目標(biāo)設(shè)計(jì)規(guī)劃，闡釋“藝術(shù)改變生活”的主張。

　　White Box Museum of Art is located in Beijing 798 art district, on a site that was previously a Bauhaus- influenced factory area, which was designed by East Germany in 1952. Based on the abandoned military factory, White Box Arts and Culture Cooperation invested to redesign and develop it into a maximum amount of hanging exhibition space, with the intention of remaining the essence of these original structures. Its multi-functional design aims to fulfill the various needs of contemporary life by offering platforms for exhibitions, creative design, academic exchange, symposiums and educational program. Now, White Box Museum of Art has around 800 sq meters admirable exhibition space, and its chief mission is driving a deeper communication between Chinese Contemporary Arts and international culture, via holding different types of exhibition and activity which relate to CCA. We are dedicated to display innovative artworks, ignite academic minds and organize resources; as well as pay lots of attention on spreading CCA and its’ interaction in the international creative environment, to explore the new trend for the development of the industry of arts. ‘Art makes life different’ is our mandate, which we hope to achieve by being communicative, open and cooperative.
