第零空間
第零空間位于北京798藝術(shù)區(qū)，成立于2010年9月，由大庫(kù)藝術(shù)中心投資創(chuàng)建，（大庫(kù)藝術(shù)中心于1996年入駐798）在廢棄的706電鍍車(chē)間基礎(chǔ)上重新設(shè)計(jì)建造，下設(shè)藝術(shù)展覽空間、多媒體展示廳及藝術(shù)廣場(chǎng)。第零空間擁有300平方米的室內(nèi)展示空間，關(guān)注國(guó)內(nèi)國(guó)際當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的發(fā)展動(dòng)向和最新思潮，推動(dòng)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)與國(guó)際文化藝術(shù)的交流。支持包括視覺(jué)藝術(shù)、行為藝術(shù)、實(shí)驗(yàn)音樂(lè)以及跨媒介的新媒體藝術(shù)等多種藝術(shù)形式，積極發(fā)現(xiàn)、培養(yǎng)、推出年輕的新銳藝術(shù)家。同時(shí)，還致力于以出版、發(fā)行和國(guó)內(nèi)國(guó)際間的藝術(shù)項(xiàng)目的組織策劃等方式推廣當(dāng)代藝術(shù)。
Space Zero
Space Zero is located in Beijing’s 798 Art District. It was established in September of 2010 by the investment of Daku Arts Center. (Daku Arts Center entered 798 in 1996) The foundations of the obsolete 706 electroplating workshop where redesigned and engineered to house an art exhibition space, a multimedia exhibition hall and an arts plaza. Space Zero has 300 square meters of indoor exhibition space. By paying attention to the developmental and ideological trends of domestic and international contemporary art, we seek to encourage communication between Chinese contemporary art and international culture and art. We support multiple art forms including visual arts, performance arts, experimental music and inter-medium new media art, and are active in the discovery, nurture and launching of young, cutting-edge artists. At the same time we are committed to the promotion of contemporary art by such methods as publishing, distribution, and the organization and planning of art projects incorporating both domestic and international artists.
第零空間
“第零空間”是重新開(kāi)始的信號(hào)，當(dāng)代藝術(shù)永遠(yuǎn)需要我們不間斷的重新開(kāi)始。
“第零”是一個(gè)原點(diǎn)，它可以沿著坐標(biāo)向所有方向延伸，表示它的發(fā)展是不受約束的，是自由的。
“第零”是我們對(duì)自己的苛求，我們雖然已經(jīng)做過(guò)了無(wú)數(shù)的事情，但是所有的工作都還必須重新學(xué)習(xí)，重新開(kāi)放，重新接受，重新聯(lián)合。
“零”，看似一無(wú)所有，但是和一切關(guān)聯(lián)。
Space Zero
“Space Zero” is the symbol of a fresh start. Contemporary art constantly requires us to be starting afresh.
“Zero” is a starting point. It can be extended in any and every direction, signifying how its
development is unfettered, it is free.
“Zero” is the demand we make of ourselves. Even though we have done countless things, with
every work we must relearn, open our souls to the world again, be open to accept new things and reunify.
“Zero” may not seem to be anything in itself, but it is relevant in everything.
