張可欣，1957年生于哈爾濱。1982年畢業(yè)于哈爾濱師范大學(xué)美術(shù)系(后改為藝術(shù)學(xué)院)。1989年任黑龍江美術(shù)出版社副編審，畫冊編輯室主任。在中國期間，其作品曾多次參加各種國家級大型美術(shù)作品展。
1992年作為訪問學(xué)者赴俄羅斯東方藝術(shù)博物館進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流及舉辦當(dāng)代藝術(shù)作品展，參加俄羅斯科學(xué)院東方研究所主辦的“中國文化和當(dāng)代中國”學(xué)術(shù)研討會，同時(shí)創(chuàng)作的當(dāng)代藝術(shù)作品《花神》系列共二十余件在此觀摩展出。同年在俄羅斯及東歐諸國的國立美術(shù)館舉辦藝術(shù)巡回展之后，被俄羅斯莫斯科市比拉耶沃現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館聘請為藝術(shù)顧問。
2002年以來，受印度、尼泊爾駐泰王國大使館的邀請，赴印度與尼泊爾兩國進(jìn)行宗教藝術(shù)方面的學(xué)術(shù)訪問與交流。在此期間撰寫多篇相關(guān)學(xué)術(shù)論文，即：“東方紅色的崇拜”，同時(shí)以此課題展開長達(dá)三年之久的系列化、實(shí)驗(yàn)性當(dāng)代藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作，之后又受邀在德國、荷蘭、比利時(shí)、法國、西班牙等國進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)訪問及舉辦個(gè)展。
藝術(shù)家張可欣十幾年來，運(yùn)用裝置、行為、影像、繪畫、雕塑、新媒體等當(dāng)代藝術(shù)語言，
一直活躍于中國，東南亞及國際藝術(shù)舞臺，是一位具影響力的中國當(dāng)代藝術(shù)家?，F(xiàn)于曼谷和北京設(shè)有張可欣藝術(shù)工作室。
Zhang Kexin, born in Harbin, China in 1957. Graduated from the art department of the Normal University of Haerbin in 1982. Worked as editor of Heilongjiang’s Provincial Fine Art Publishing House in 1989. Participated many of the national art exhibitions from1984 to 1989.
1992, invited by the Ministry of Culture of the former Soviet Union as visiting scholar for culture-exchange program and art exhibition. Took part in the symposium of “Chinese Culture and Contemporary China” held by the Research Institute of Eastern Countries of the Russian Academy of Science. In March, engaged by Bieliayevo Museum of Modern Art in Moscow as consultant after the travelling exhibitions in the national museums of Russia and other countries of Eastern Europe.
2002, invited by the Embassy of India and Nepal in Thailand for scholar visits and culture-exchange programs in India and Nepal. Wrote concerning academic dissertations on subject of “Admiration of Red in the East”. Continuous art creations in experimental series during three years. Invited for visits and exhibitions in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain and other countries.
Now lives and works in Bangkok and Beijing.
