展覽著重從藝術(shù)本體的角度觀察林崗先生的油畫寫生與抽象創(chuàng)作。前者呈現(xiàn)藝術(shù)家如何描寫外物之像，后者觀照作者怎樣抒寫精神世界，最終勾勒出林崗先生數(shù)十年的寫生積累和抽象之變間的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系，希望對(duì)青年一代的繪畫練習(xí)和創(chuàng)作提供借鑒。同時(shí)，展覽也將以獨(dú)立板塊對(duì)林崗先生的藝術(shù)歷程和重要成就進(jìn)行回顧和總結(jié)。
　　This exhibition will examine both Mr. Lin Gang's landscape oil paintings and his abstract works through the lens of artistic ontology. Lin's landscapes will showcase the artist's attempts to capture the likenesses of physical objects; Lin's abstract works will reveal the artist's conception of the spiritual world. Painting / Living will further explore the relationship between Lin's landscape and abstract works from past decades, and hopefully provide a creative reference point for younger generations of artists. Finally, a section of Painting / Living  will specifically review and summarize Lin's artistic career and important achievements.
