致力于中國當(dāng)代攝影的策展、傳播、推廣以及藝術(shù)項(xiàng)目、藝術(shù)空間的管理。
1996年6月至1998年4月于《人民攝影》先后擔(dān)任“攝影家訪談”專欄記者、理論版編輯；1998年4月至2005年于羊城晚報(bào)報(bào)業(yè)集團(tuán)《新快報(bào)》先后任圖片編輯、圖片總監(jiān)；1998年8月策劃組織“華南報(bào)道攝影高級(jí)研討班”；2000年編著反映中國20世紀(jì)社會(huì)各階層生存狀況的大型紀(jì)實(shí)攝影叢書《中國故事》；2001年至2003年被世界新聞攝影基金會(huì)(WPP)選為中國大師班成員參加為期3年的學(xué)習(xí)；2005年發(fā)起、策劃連州國際攝影年展項(xiàng)目，并擔(dān)任項(xiàng)目及藝術(shù)總監(jiān)；2005年底被評(píng)為“2005中國攝影十大焦點(diǎn)人物”；2006年1月策劃“百變香江—邱良個(gè)展”（廣東美術(shù)館）；2006年1月策劃“我鏡頭中的毛澤東—呂厚民個(gè)展”（廣東美術(shù)館）；2006年2月為莫斯科攝影節(jié)策展；2006年3月被美國休斯頓攝影節(jié)（FotoFest）特邀為中國攝影節(jié)的代表參加“國際攝影藝術(shù)博物館聯(lián)盟Oracle”組織會(huì)議；2006年5月“中國攝影50年”大型回顧展特約策展人；2006年11月受邀擔(dān)任德國柏林?jǐn)z影節(jié)（FOTOBILD）評(píng)委；2007年1月受邀擔(dān)任法國巴黎攝影雙年展中國部分策展人；2007年英國伯明翰攝影節(jié)（Rhubarb-Rhubarb）大師評(píng)審會(huì)評(píng)委；2007年德國柏林?jǐn)z影節(jié)（FOTOBILD）大師評(píng)審會(huì)評(píng)委。2008年4月首屆希臘攝影雙年展評(píng)委。2008年5月柏林?jǐn)z影節(jié)評(píng)委。
