藝術(shù)的新鮮是不同于生活的新鮮亦不同于理論的新鮮的。生活的新鮮是流動(dòng)的，善變的，理論的新鮮是寓于延續(xù)不滅的對(duì)永恒之物的追問(wèn)或者說(shuō)猜測(cè)之中的。那么藝術(shù)呢？藝術(shù)是那善變的和永恒的得以溝通的最好中介。這是藝術(shù)的生命力所在，就像從生活的汪洋中打撈出某種可以使我們的眼光猝然得以改變的璀璨之物一般，謹(jǐn)慎而又充溢著飽滿(mǎn)的歷險(xiǎn)精神。
同樣的生活會(huì)有不同的感受，同樣的現(xiàn)實(shí)可以給我們完全不同意味的追問(wèn)。“可能”在我們生活的這個(gè)世紀(jì)意味著一種開(kāi)放的態(tài)度，意味著對(duì)個(gè)體意愿的真正尊重。“可能”是跟在現(xiàn)實(shí)后面的一個(gè)遁詞；現(xiàn)在，“可能”已經(jīng)開(kāi)始作為一個(gè)維度與事物相關(guān)。道出可能，也就是道出不同。
新鮮——十種可能，是十個(gè)年輕人的聯(lián)展，我們寄望從中看到新鮮，也看出不同的可能、不同思之道路。
The innovations of art differ from the innovations of life and those of scientific theories. The innovations of life are flowing and fast-changing, while those of scientific theories are the everlasting pursuit of invariable truth. What about the innovations of art? Innovations of art are bridges between the inconsistent and the predictable. This is the essence of art, the brilliance that can change our perspectives towards life – cautious but full of adventurous spirits.
One lifestyle may give rise to many different perspectives; the one reality that we all share can incite all kinds of pursuits and aspirations. “Possibility” signifies an attitude of openness and the true respect for personal desire, and is an extension, or perhaps even a part, of the reality. When we talk about possibilities, we acknowledge the dissimilarity or diversity that vibrates among all of us.
Innovation —10 Possibilities is a group exhibition of 10 young artists. We not only see the innovations, but we also see the possibilities – different points of view, and different worlds as seen from the artists’ eyes.
