今年的巴塞爾藝博會(huì)將于6月10日至14日舉行。而12至14日是巴塞爾藝博會(huì)首次籌辦的“巴塞爾藝博會(huì)周末”，這一系列令人興奮的活動(dòng)將在參展畫廊的展廳舉行，分別為博物館專家，策展人，藝術(shù)家，學(xué)者，收藏家，藝術(shù)商人及普通大眾量身定做。
“巴塞爾藝博會(huì)周末”的主要活動(dòng)有：各畫廊展廳的藝術(shù)家個(gè)人展，創(chuàng)作品的熱別呈現(xiàn)，電影，表演，圖書簽售，以及在藝術(shù)工作室進(jìn)行的各種談話及訪談?lì)惢顒?dòng)。許多藝術(shù)家都會(huì)現(xiàn)身畫廊展臺(tái)。

周末活動(dòng)最大的亮點(diǎn)為：藝術(shù)工作室上午的兩場(chǎng)談話節(jié)目，“博物館的未來：數(shù)碼新領(lǐng)域”（周五），“公有/私有：機(jī)構(gòu)：危機(jī)還是機(jī)遇的時(shí)代？”（周六）；一場(chǎng)由瑞士建筑博物館組織的Peter Zumthor訪談；一場(chǎng)Mark Leckey在巴塞爾博物館進(jìn)行的講座。
特別的群體展業(yè)將在周末活動(dòng)中亮相。Kicken畫廊將獻(xiàn)上“包豪斯，90歲生日快樂”展。Washburn畫廊將展出“年華逝去”，其中包括庫(kù)寧（Kooning）等人的作品。Konrad Fischer畫廊將展出Hans-Peter Feldmann的作品，碰巧的是這位藝術(shù)家在“藝術(shù)無限”藝術(shù)巴塞爾上也有作品展出。

Art Basel 40 Celebrates the First Art Basel Weekend with Special Presentations
BASEL.- On the Weekend of June 12 to June 14, 2009, Art 40 Basel celebrates the first Art Basel Weekend, highlighting activities at the booths of the participating galleries, specially conceived for museum professionals, curators, artists, academics, art collectors, art dealers, critics and also for the general public.
Art Basel Weekend features solo shows in the booths of the galleries, special presentations of works, film programs, performances, book signings and special talks and conversations in the Art Lobby. Many artists will be present at the booths of the galleries. Further highlights at the weekend will be the Art Basel Conversations in the morning about “The Future of the Museum: Digital Frontiers” (Friday) and “Public / Private: Institutions: A Time of Crisis – and Opportunity?” (Saturday), a talk organised by the Swiss Architecture Museum with Peter Zumthor, a lecture performance by Mark Leckey at the Museum für Gegenwartskunst Basel, well as many more events and receptions in Basel institutions.
There will be special group exhibitions throughout the weekend, including Kicken Gallery presenting “Happy 90th Birthday, Bauhaus”, Washburn Gallery showing “Sliding Through The Years” with works by Martin Johnson Heade, Marsden Hartley, Georgia O’ Keeffe, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko and others, and Konrad Fischer Gallery presenting works by Hans-Peter Feldmann coinciding with his work at Art Unlimited.
Various solo shows feature artists such as Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven (Zeno X), Jim Shaw (Praz-Delavallade), and Remy Markowitsch (Eigen + Art). Artists Ryan Gander and Bedwyr Williams (Annet Gelink Gallery, Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, Lisson Gallery) will stage performances in the booths of the galleries. Galerie Barbara Weiss showcases different 2-channel film installations by Harun Farocki, Galerie Krinzinger presents the film “Water Panics in the Sea, Scene 9” (2009) by Laleh Khorramian and Galerie Juliette Jongma screens the film “chess piano” (2009) by Guido van der Werve. Finally, artists such as Simon Starling (Franco Noero Gallery), Karl Holmquist (Hollybush Gardens), Christian Lapie (Galerie Alice Pauli), Catherine Griffiths and Dan Rees (T293), Vincenzo Castella and Multiplicity (Studio la Città), Sterling Ruby (Galleria Emi Fontana, West of Rome) will present their latest publications.
