女性藝術(shù)家在當(dāng)代藝術(shù)界已然成為不可或缺的生力軍，她們的工作從以往無(wú)性別的藝術(shù)提出挑戰(zhàn)到今天真本性情的自然流落，少了犀利勇猛，更多了自然采性，從而藝術(shù)變得更加純粹和飽滿，人也更是鮮活可愛(ài)起來(lái)。她們用自己更細(xì)致委婉的藝術(shù)視角去感悟她們的生活真諦，自然流露于作品之中，重新回歸到藝術(shù)原本的性情，是女性藝術(shù)在當(dāng)代的重要進(jìn)步更為當(dāng)代女性藝術(shù)史填寫新的內(nèi)容。2007年11月15日－2007年11月25日，即將在上海多倫現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館舉辦的“靜界——謝艾格雕塑作品展”可以說(shuō)是對(duì)這一當(dāng)代女性藝術(shù)現(xiàn)象的細(xì)致詮釋。
恬靜，隨行是一種人性的境界，追求這些有如修行一種美德，原本純凈的人性內(nèi)心讓很多世俗的事物變得多變。
謝艾格的藝術(shù)作品是細(xì)致的呈現(xiàn)了人們的精神本質(zhì)，去掉所有的枷鎖，回歸自然，表現(xiàn)本質(zhì)的心靈境界。作品中充滿著思考的模式以及生活的方式,還多少有些滿矛盾色彩，作品猶如給心靈筑建一個(gè)看似孤單的城堡,卻城堡里充滿了快樂(lè).她的主要靈感來(lái)自于她自己的生活方式以及思考人性的精神回歸.不同的是在謝艾格的作品還有一種純樸和諧的寧?kù)o正與我們?nèi)缃襁@個(gè)忙碌而表面化的人性形成對(duì)比。謝艾格與其作品從不受外界的影響,也沒(méi)有借助任何模特去塑造那些形象,然而她和材料、人性精神、作品形態(tài)形成了一種互為和諧的優(yōu)美的視覺(jué)和心靈感受.

“A Peaceful Nature”
XIE AIGE AND HER SCULPTURE WORLD
(CLAY, BRONZE, FIBERGLASS)
If we have an overlook at the contemporary art world, the female artists group has already become a dynamic force which nobody can neglect. Their art works return to the real nature of art itself, which is different from the struggling towards the non-sexual art as it was before. Their works are getting less and less sharp and adventuring, but with more nature, yet more purified and abundant. Meanwhile, the female artists become more and more active and lovable. They watch the world by using their unique view, more precise and more tender and sensible. Thus the truth of life are embedded, the nature is described as it is. This is an important development of the contemporary female art, yet it enriches the contemporary female art history. The upcoming “A PEACEFUL NATURE----XIE AIGE’s SCULPTURE WORLD” exhibition, held at Shanghai Duolun Contemporary Art Gallery during 2007.11.15 ~11.25, maybe considered as an exhibition which well interprets the contemporary female art phenomenon.
To live a tranquil and natural life is like to pursue a virtue, since our inner nature often gets diversified by the daily worldly matters.
Xie Aige’s work is trying to illustrate the essence of human nature, getting off all the chains and getting back to the nature, to show the true colors of soul. The works are like building a seemingly lonely castle for soul; however the castle is full of happiness. Within the Chinese Sculpting community, which is a melting pot of many trends – classical, modern and post-modern - Xie Aige is a sculptor who deserves a special place, the sculptures of Xie Aige are very characteristic of her way of life, traditional and modern at the same time, while reflecting her Hunan Province roots, they are shaped in a kind of abstract mould that is yet very modernist. Her creativity is limitless but encompasses mainly women, either sitting in a waiting posture or in faceless freeform groups or playing with a pet. These sculptures are centered on the Chinese women’s condition – somewhat lost between the traditional Chinese culture and the modern requirements of today’s life. Since her beginning, Xie Aige has evolved in the size and shapes of her sculptures but through her evolution, is always consistent with the message she wants to convey through her creations which is about the challenges Chinese women face in our modern world.
